Australians love a punt ...

Is technology taking things too far? BBQ, activities and discussion

Gambling Harm Awareness Week

Australians love a punt, but is technology taking things too far? BBQ, activities and discussion.

ITIKI Sporting Club of Glenroy BBQ and Reclink activities start at 6.30 pm.

Gamblers Help City talk and discussion starts at 7.30.

Did you know that poker machine losses in Moreland were $63.5 million in the last financial year? Poker machines are designed to be addictive and are a contributor to financial hardship and family breakdown. In partnership with the Victorian Responsible Gaming Foundation, Library services across the state are working to reduce gambling harm through their Libraries after Dark programs.

From online sports betting to skin trading – the world of gambling has exploded! How has technology transformed what we know about gambling? What impact are all these new advances having on our community? Join Gambler’s Help City for a BBQ and activities provided by the ITIKI Sporting Club of Glenroy and Reclink, for an opportunity to listen, talk and share about the new online world of gaming and gambling.
