Writers of all ages are welcome to enter Moreland City Libraries’ Other Worlds 2019 Short story competition.

Entrants are invited to write OR recite a story in response to either of these art works -

Your story can be written in 500 words (or less) OR recited in 5 minutes (or less)

To enter, complete a Short story competition entry form (PDF 1Mb) or obtain one from your local library.  

Categories and prizes

Up to 8 years old: 
Winner: Sphero SPRK+ robot                                     
Achievement award: $50 book voucher 

9 to 12 years old:
Winner: Sphero SPRK+ robot
Achievement award: $50 book voucher

13 to 17 years old:
Winner: $200 JB Hi-Fi voucher                                 
Achievement award: $50 book voucher 

Adult:
Winner: 1 year membership to Writers’ Victoria plus $100 book voucher
Achievement award: $100 book voucher 

Book vouchers are redeemable at most Australian book stores.
