English conversation clubs

Starting Monday 17 May 2021.

Would you like to practice your English speaking skills in a relaxed environment?

English Conversation Club is a weekly group for adults who speak English as a second language and anyone interested in participating in intercultural conversation practice. These informal sessions are free. Register for the Online Conversation Club through Eventbrite.

The English Conversation Club does not meet during the school holidays.

  • 2 pm, Wednesdays at Coburg Library
  • 1 pm, Thusdays Online using Microsoft Teams
  • 7.30 pm, Thursdays at Glenroy Library
  • 2 pm, Fridays at Fawkner Library

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

We offer access to Road to IELTS, an online preparation and practice resource for learning how to read, write and speak English. The resource is available at two levels: general and academic. You can watch a video explaining more about Road to IELTS and how to use it. You will need to login with your full library card number (A20003xxxxxxxxxB). Your password is your date of birth in eight numbers (ddmmyyyy).

Mango Languages helps you prepare for realistic conversations and communication in over 70 world languages including Spanish, French, Greek, Italian and English.
