Children's eResources

Moreland Libraries offers a range of online activities for children. These include games, picture books, eAudiobooks, puzzles and information resources.

To access children's eResources, you will need your library card number. This is the number printed on your Moreland City Libraries member card, for example, A2000301xxxxxxxB. Your password is your date of birth in 8-digit format (ddmmyyyy).

iVox - books that move

iVox is an interactive storybook app for children ages 4-8. Designed for little hands and big imaginations, iVox brings favourite stories to life with three dimensional characters and scenes that children can explore. Confident readers can practice their skills in a new and fun way, while emerging readers will be helped along by the engaging narration. iVox captivates children and parents by creating a truly educational and hands-on reading experience. You can preview what iVox looks like on the iVox website. You can also download the app from the App Store or Google Play store, Once you enter your library card information, you can download titles and take them with you wherever you go!

Storybox Library

Listen to your favourite stories read by the best storytellers on StoryBox Library. Watch videos of Justine Clarke, Nick Cave, Missy Higgins, Peter Hitchener, Andy Griffiths, Sally Rippin and many more making great Australian books come alive.

Britannica Library Edition

Encyclopedia Britannica is a trusted information resource, 3 levels of information for children, teens and adults, which can be accessed at the library or at home.

Busy Things

Play and learn with Busythings! With activities in the areas of literacy, numeracy, creative development and general knowledge, learning has never been so much fun! Suitable for ages 3-11.

Busy Code

Busy Code is a set of resources designed to introduce simple programming concepts. Teach BeardMan and his friends how to dance in Code Disco, or help BeardMan explore for treasure and avoid pitfalls in BeardMan's Adventures.
