Coburg halls and meeting rooms

How to hire a small hall or meeting room

  1. Look through our Halls and meeting rooms pages to find the right venue for your event.
  2. Go to our online services website to check venue availability or make a tentative booking request.
  3. Fill in a venue booking form. You can find which booking form to use for each venue in the booking forms section below.
  4. Email your completed booking form to communityvenues@moreland.vic.gov.au. If you don't email us a completed booking form within 14 days we will cancel your tentative booking request.
  5. Once we receive your completed booking form, allow 5 working days for us to process it.
  6. If your booking is successful we will send you a confirmation letter.
  7. You must pay all the fees before your event.

Booking forms

After you make a tentative booking request, you will need to fill in the Community Venues Hire Agreement booking form (DOC 244Kb) if you are booking one of the following venues:

  • Coburg Court House
  • Coburg Senior Citizen Centre
  • Harry Atkinson Art Craft Centre
  • Merlynston Progress Hall
  • Newland Senior Citizen Centre

After you make a tentative booking request, you will need to fill in the Meeting Room booking form (DOC 110Kb) if you are booking one of the following venues:

  • Coburg Library Meeting Room
  • Coburg North Village Meeting Room
  • Coburg Concert Hall

Coburg Concert Hall

Location

90 Bell Street, Coburg, in the Moreland Civic Centre.

    Free use for up to 3 hours per week for approved community groups.

    Library meeting rooms are available for community groups and private users to hire. If you want to make a commercial booking, refer to our other meeting rooms.

    Key collection

    You must pick up the meeting room keys from the library during it's business hours.

    Parking

    There are free car parks nearby that are subject to restrictions. There is accessible parking on Victoria Street (2 spaces, 2 hour parking), and in the public car park at 54 Waterfield Street (2 spaces, 3 hour parking between 7am to 7pm, Mondays to Saturdays). These spaces do not belong to the venue so car spaces may not be available at all times.

    Parking is not allowed outside the rear exit door of the meeting room, or on Victoria Street.
