Holbrook Reserve community planting day
Join Council and the Friends of Moonee Ponds Creek to help Celebrate Australia's National Wattle Day
Wattles have long held a special meaning for Australians and in 1988 the Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha) was officially gazetted as Australia's national floral emblem.
Come along to a community planting day at Holbrook Reserve in Brunswick West.
This day will be held in-conjunction with the Friends of Moonee Ponds Creek.
Please wear appropriate clothing, sturdy boots and bring along your gloves. Tools, equipment and light refreshments will be provided.
