Waterwatch free Water Quality Training Workshop

Waterwatch free Water Quality Training Workshop

Give back to our creeks and help monitor the ecological health of local waterways

Do you love taking a stroll down the Merri, Moonee Ponds, Edgars or Darebin Creeks?

Why not give back to our creeks and help monitor the health of Melbourne’s northern waterways?

Merri Creek Management Committee Waterwatch are hosting a FREE training session for new Waterwatch volunteers.

By becoming a Waterwatch volunteer you’ll learn how to collect data on water quality, carry out habitat assessments and identify aquatic macroinvertebrates (water bugs). Long-term data from this program assists with monitoring waterway health.

Lunch will be provided, please tell us of any dietary requirements when registering. This event is free, bookings are essential.
