Warr Park Food Food Forest Community Consultation

Warr Park Food Food Forest Community Consultation

Come along and learn about the Food Forest Project, sign up to be involved and have your input!

The Warr Park Food Forest project is proudly funded through the Victorian Government's Pick My Project community grants initiative.

Led by Brunswick Neighbourhood House and supported by Moreland City Council, the Warr Park Food Forest is a community project for everyone to enjoy. An edible oasis, the food forest will be have an abundance of fruit and nut trees, fully accessible self-watering vegetable garden beds, an integrated children’s play garden, and a coffee cart run by trained volunteers to serve park users.

The Food Forest will provide learning opportunities encouraging local food production, healthy eating, and sustainable living, while bringing the community together with a sense of shared responsibility and achievement.

The area serves as a demonstration site for what people can do at home, and as a suitable venue for courses and other future educational opportunities connected to the Neighbourhood House.

Come along and be part of the discussion, learn more about the project and sign up to be involved.
