Launch of public artwork by Anton Hasell
Public art launch in Saxon Lane, Brunswick.
Join us for the launch of our new public art piece, entitled 'Where We Have Come To'.
This sculpture represents the multiculturalism that is at the heart of Moreland. The sculpture is also an instrument that can be struck to generate a kind of community ripple of sound that “binds all within its sonic perimeter”.
Please join us for the launch where children will be invited to strike the bell in what the artist has explained will create a "low grumbling sound which connects people together in the shared listening experience." We will also have the Federation Handbells at the launch which will be available for guests to play.
We hope you can join us to create some music in what will be a celebration that brings people together through sound.
