Concert for Asylum Seekers Resource Centre Fundraiser

Concert for Asylum Seekers Resource Centre Fundraiser

A four hour mini music festival raising money for the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.

To cap off a great year of sharing community music, Christ Church Brunswick & Small Space Music are hosting a fundraising event to help many women, men and children survive their immigration experience in Australia. Musicians from around Melbourne are coming together to honour the work of the effective and humanitarian organisation Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.

The Xmas Fundraiser will serve up four hours of continuous music, taking place in three performance spaces, an outdoor stage on the lawn and two indoor stages, in the Vicerage and the Church. All of the acts are of course carefully chosen to suit the performance space. Music covered will be Jazz, Classical, Improvised, Choral Music, Country, Reggae & Blues- featuring some of the finest Melbourne musicians, all giving their time and talent for a great cause.

All money raised will go directly to the ASRC Featured artists: The Lovelight Orchestra-Michelle Nicolle-Nellie Gibson (action painter) Anthony Schulz-Andrea Keeble-The Noisicians-Nick Tisavos-Boite Choir-Stephen Magnusson-Nick Haywood and more...
