Protecting your copyright online with Suzanne Derry (MiiM)
Making it in Moreland is a series of free online workshops and discussions for local artists.
Join Suzanne Derry (Arts Law Australia) for a special COVID-19 focused session on copyright and Intellectual Property that will take you through some of the impacts of moving (or staying, or growing) your online creative presence.
Suzanne will look at ways artists can protect their copyright and intellectual property when moving their artform online, both now and in the future. What considerations should you make when uploading previously recorded live shows (recorded as documentation) to new online platforms; how can musicians, visual and performing artists manage ownership of their online material; and tips on navigating contracts with galleries and theatres looking to present your work online.
