Little Activist Letter Writing Workshop with Ailsa Wild

Little Activist Letter Writing Workshop with Ailsa Wild

Author Ailsa Wild will be hosting a Little Activist's Letter Writing Workshop at the gallery.

The Counihan Gallery in Brunswick are partnering with Brunswick Bound.

Our annual Moreland Summer Show is championing Language & Liberty and to help celebrate these themes author Ailsa Wild will be hosting a workshop for the little activist in your life.

Do you want to make change? Something small in your community or even something dauntingly enormous? Did you know you can actually start changing the world by writing a letter?

Ailsa will ask you what issues you think are important and talk about simple letter-writing structures. Then we will figure out the best person for you to write to so you can make a difference. Because the pen is certainly mighty!

This is an inspiring workshop that harnesses children’s individual passions, giving them the literacy skills and civics knowledge to work towards changes they themselves want to see.

All materials will be provided.

This is a FREE event, but bookings are appreciated.
