Young Entrepreneurs in the North

The Young Entrepreneurs in the North (YEN) program provides young innovators with mentors, support, workshops and hands-on training to start their own business or social enterprise.

If you've been dreaming of running your own side hustle (big or small) or have an idea brewing but don't know where to start, this one is for you.


Nine sessions designed and facilitated by a boutique start-up company that have extensive experience working with businesses all over Australia. 

You will learn:

  • core entrepreneurial concepts
  • target audience and pricing
  • branding and marketing
  • sales and growth
  • how to pitch your idea 

You'll also be partnered with an industry mentor who can offer you one to one support throughout the program.


Sessions to be held at Baroonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library - 182 St Georges Road, North Fitzroy.


17 - 25 year olds.




Mondays, 6 - 8pm during May - July 2019. Start date TBC. Interviews will be held at the beginning of May.
