Moreland City Council works closely with APlus Apprentice and Trainee Services to provide traineeship opportunities for young people.
APlus is a not-for-profit company that was formed in 1982 by the local governments in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, including Moreland City Council.
A traineeship is a training contract between an employer and employee in which the trainee learns the skills needed for a paticular occupation or trade.
A traineeship can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis and can be used as a valuable stepping stone to start or further a career in an industry you may be interested in.
As a trainee, you can get paid while you are learning and combine formal training from TAFE or a training provider with workplace-based training.
If you are interested in a traineeship at Moreland City Council or would like more information, visit APlus Apprentice and Trainee Services website or call freecall 1800 81 81 05.
