A strategy for Moreland’s young people

We are in the process of developing a new youth strategy for young people aged 12 to 25 years.

This strategy will shape the way Council supports and works alongside young people who live, work or study in Moreland in the future.

In order for Council to better understand the needs of Moreland’s young people, we spoke with young people and service providers across Moreland. From these discussions we developed a needs and service analysis that you can download below.

Over the next few months we will continue to speak with as many young people and service providers as we can. Once developed, the draft strategy will be made available online for public comment before it’s adopted.

Come along to our workshop

Young people are invited to attend the 'Food for Thought' workshop to review and test the key themes and direction of the strategy.

When: Wednesday 20 March 2019, 5 – 6pm
Where: Oxygen Youth Space, 4-8 Gaffney Street, Coburg North

There will be food and giveaways for all that attend.
