Keeping gaming healthy for young people - professionals session

Online forum for professionals to understand how to keep gaming healthy for young people

Young people tell us gaming is a way to socialize, chill, play and learn. COVID-19 has highlighted even more the role that gaming plays in young people's lives.

What are we as professionals noticing about gaming and young people?

What are the challenges and opportunities of gaming?

What is healthy and unhealthy gaming?

How can we as professionals promote healthier gaming with the young people we are working with?

What resources, referrals and support are available ?

Please join our guest speakers from the health and community sector for a session that explores these key questions in an interactive and informative way. After the guest speakers present there will be the opportunity to discuss in smaller facilitated groups before concluding the session with links to referrals and resources.

The intention is for this to become a bi-annual event for professionals.

This is an online event run through Zoom.

Once you register, you will receive more details on how to join the event online.
