Lost your pet?

What to do if you lose your pet

When you lose your pet, you can:

  • Visit Lost and Found Pets to see if Council officers have picked up your dog or cat and taken it to Council's pound, the Epping Animal Welfare Facility, or contact the facility on 8401 6600.
  • Contact Council and we can search our records to see if your pet has been found

Add your pet to Council's lost pets page

Submit this form to add your lost pet to our lost pets page so that Council can contact you directly if a Council officer or someone else finds your pet.

When your submission is approved by Council, you are notified and your pet's details are listed on our website.

When you find your pet, please ensure you contact Council and we will remove the listing from the page. Provide your name and contact number, and the name of your pet.
