Primary school holiday program

Council operates a school holiday program for primary school children aged between 5 and 12 years old whose parents live, work or study in Moreland.

The program offers a variety of in-house activities, including games, crafts and sports, as well as excursions.

Council's primary school holiday program operates under the Commonwealth Government's Child Care Subsidy Scheme.

It follows the staffing qualifications, ratios, and building requirements of the National Quality Framework for Outside School Hours Services and My Time Our Place.

Primary School Holiday Program January 2019 Children on playground

The January 2019 Primary School Holiday Program will operate from our three venues. Dates will be posted in November 2018.

Please Note: Coburg North Primary School will not be operating over the January 2019 period due to building works and asbestos testing. Coburg North staff will be working from Pascoe Vale Sth Primary during this time.

Our three venues:

  • Brunswick South West Primary School
  • Brunswick East Primary School
  • Pascoe Vale South Primary School

Please note that entry to Pascoe Vale South Primary School will be via Parkstone Avenue located at the back part of the building, where the program will be held, due to works at the front of the building.

New child care subsidy scheme

Please ensure that you are registered with My Gov to be able to claim the childcare subsidy (CCS) otherwise you will be charged full fees.

Activities

For a listing of activities see the Primary School Holiday January 2019 brochure, which will be available to download Friday 2 November 2018 by 5 pm.

Copies of the brochure will also be available at local primary schools and at Council Customer Service Centres.
