Primary school holiday program
Council operates a school holiday program for primary school children aged between 5 and 12 years old whose parents live, work or study in Moreland.
The program offers a variety of in-house activities, including games, crafts and sports, and excursions.
Council's primary school holiday program operates under the Commonwealth Government's Child Care Subsidy Scheme.
It follows the staffing qualifications, ratios, and building requirements of the National Quality Framework for Outside School Hours Services and My Time Our Place.
Primary School Holiday Program April 2019
The April 2019 Primary School Holiday Program will operate from our 3 venues from Monday 8 April to Thursday 18 April 2019.
Please note: Coburg North Primary School will not be operating over the April 2019 period due to building works. Coburg North staff will be working from Pascoe Vale South Primary during this time.

Please note that entry to Pascoe Vale South Primary School will be via Parkstone Avenue located at the back part of the building, where the program will be held, due to works at the front of the building.

Copies of the brochure will also be available at local primary schools and at Council Customer Service Centres by Friday 15 February 2019 by 5 pm.
On excursion days, buses will depart at 9am from the venue and cannot wait for latecomers. Educator to child ratio is 1 to 10.
New child care subsidy scheme
Please ensure that you are registered with My Gov to be able to claim the childcare subsidy (CCS) otherwise you will be charged full fees.
Children with additional needs
If your child has additional needs, phone the Team Leader - School Holiday Program on 9240 1227 at least 6 weeks before the program starts to discuss your child's needs and your care requirements.
When and how to enrol
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a system error new families that a currently using Qk Enrol for other services e.g before/after school care may not be able to apply online for School Holiday Program, if you are experiencing this please call the 9240 2360 or 9240 2427
Bookings for the April 2019 School Holiday Program open Friday 15 February at 5 pm. Please note you are unable to book any days until we open the Casual Booking Calendar. Council uses the QK Enrol program and website for enrolments.
Booking requests for the program are tentative until you receive a booking confirmation from Council.
Please do not create a new account as multiple accounts may affect your account balance. If you have used the School Holiday Program before, at any of our venues, visit QK Enrol. If you have forgotten your password, go to QK Enrol and choose forgotten password.
Please ensure your enrolment form has been completed and/or has all current information before you choose your casual dates.
You need to register first before you can use the online booking system.
Once you are registered, sign in to provide enrolment details and submit your booking request.

Please note: until you receive a booking confirmation from Council, your booking request is tentative.

First day absences
For each program if your child is absent on your first booked day, you are not eligible for Child Care Subsidy and full fees will apply on all absences until the first day of the child's attendance.
Last day absences
For each program, Child Care Subsidy will apply up to the last day of attendance. If your child is absent up to and including the last day of your booking, you are not eligible for Child Care Subsidy and full fees will apply for these absences.
Processing and confirmation of enrolment
Enrolments received between Monday 18 February and Friday 1 March 2019 will be processed in order. To be eligible your child must be attending primary school.
Priority is given to familes working, living or studying in Moreland.
Your requested booking dates are not guaranteed as there are limited places at each session and venue.
An invoice confirming your enrolment in the Primary School Holiday program will be emailed by Thursday 7 March 2019.
Cancellations in writing are due by Friday 15 March 2019 by 5 pm. Cancellations received after Friday 15 March 2019 by 5 pm will require full payment of fees whether your child attends or not.
Late enrolments are considered and places allocated where vacancies exist.
A waiting list also applies and applicants will be notified when and if a vacancy becomes available.
How to pay
- Pay the invoice online by Visa or MasterCard
- Use BPAY with the biller code 938944
- Make a cheque or money order payable to Moreland City Council and post to Primary School Holiday Program, Moreland City Council, Locked Bag 10, Moreland 3058, or
- Pay in person at a Council Customer Service Centre.
