PLASTISPHERE: Explore our plastic future in an immersive art installation
Created by LAURA COLLINS, LOUIS STEVENS and CONOR JAMIESON
20 – 21 September
As emission targets are ignored by the masses and we hurtle towards the point of no return, it's clear to many that we’re often unable to empathise with future generations.
Plastisphere gives space to the voiceless, as audiences at Coburg Library are confronted with a message from the future and a desolate nostalgia felt for a world promised. Featuring ghostly projections and musical accompaniment formed from the detritus of environment, Plastisphere sits at the intersection of art and Science.
Session times: 20 Sept, 8 pm – 11 pm/ 21 Sept, 7 pm – 11 pm (Relaxed Session: 21 September 6 pm – 7 pm)
