Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group

The Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group (SMAG) shares information, discusses issues, promotes community awareness and advises Council on its strategies, policies and programs on sustainability specifically related to climate change, waste, water and water sensitive urban design, sustainable buildings and open space.


The Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group advises and assists Moreland City Council in developing and monitoring policies, programs and projects designed to address environmentally sustainability in the municipality.


The Committee consists of residents, representatives from community organisations, Council officers and Cr Jess Dorney.


Meetings will be held quarterly at the Coburg Civic Centre, on an evening between 6 pm and 8 pm 

Membership is for a 2 or 4 year period.
