Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy and parking changes
Our Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy (MITS) and plan to improve the way we manage on-street parking are a key part of Future Moreland, Council’s vision to address population growth’s impact on the city.
In March 2019, Council adopted the Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy, a plan to encourage sustainable transport as much as possible to keep Moreland as a great place to live.
Planned future parking restrictions arising from the Moreland Integrated Parking Strategy (MITS) 2019 have been abandoned. More information about what this means is available on this page.
Amendment C183 seeks to make changes to the Parking Overlays that apply to activity centres across the municipality.
Council adopted an updated policy on 9 May 2018. We wish to thank everyone who contributed feedback to the draft Parking Management Policy.
