Louisa Street, Coburg - Streetscape upgrade

Project background

Louisa StreetCouncil is undertaking the design for the streetscape improvement of Louisa Street, Coburg, as part of Council's streetscape upgrade projects within Coburg Activity Centre.

The aim is to revitalise the area to improve safety, pedestrian amenity and presentation of the street.

Key improvements could include:

  • New footpath including paving, kerb and channel
  • Landscaping including street trees, and
  • Street furniture as required.

We sought feedback on the existing condition of Louisa Street and what people would like to see in the future.

Feedback closed on 16 September 2018, and involved a survey as well as community consultation sessions.

Feedback received will inform the development of the Draft Concept Design.
