Proposed Sale of Land Adjoining 45 Albert Street, Brunswick

Moreland City Council (Council) proposes to sell a surplus 72m² sliver of its land to the adjoining owner of 45 Albert Street, Brunswick East.

This sliver of land, which is zoned residential, has been leased to and enclosed within 45 Albert Street for over 60 years. 

Make a submission

We're now seeking submissions from the public on the proposed sale. 

Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do so in writing by no later than Friday 20 December 2019.

Submissions must be clearly marked “Submission – Proposed Sale of Land Adjoining 45 Albert Street, Brunswick East”.

Submissions can be made: 

All submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act. 

If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission they must include the request to be heard in the written submission and this will entitle them to appear in person, or by a person on their behalf, at a Hearing Meeting to be held at a time and date set by Council.

Submissions form part of the public record of the meeting that Council will consider whether to proceed with the sale and will be added to the Council report which is published on Council’s website.
