Skate parks

Council has a skate park at Harmony Park, Gaffney Street, Coburg. The skate park has a ‘plaza’ style which means you can skate on the seats, bins and kerbs. A partially buried concrete skate bowl is the skate park’s main feature.

The skate bowl suits advanced and junior skaters. An intermediate jump ramp is being constructed before the end of 2008.

Future skate parks

Council’s Open Space Strategy (DOC 3Mb) recommends two more skate parks in Moreland’s north and south.
