Look out for fun bike eventsThe Squeeky Wheel Spring Fashion Ride 4pm 12 October 2011 - starts at Gowrie Station

October usually means marvellous spring weather ideal for bike riding.  Keep an eye on the Council event calendar for rides.   For example, in 2010 and 2011 Council organised the MoreArt festival and turned the Upfield shared path into a sculpture garden.   Local community groups organised interpretive rides to explain each of the works ending with a social catch up on a Sydney Road night spot. Its a great time for a ride and there is usually lots of opportunities to get involved.
