Reading doesn't have to be a solitary passion. Meet other people who love reading at a library book group or book chat.
Book chat is a monthly program for book lovers. Enjoy a relaxed chat about books with library staff and other readers.
Bring your current read or an old favourite to share, or just come along to hear about what others are enjoying.
Bookings are not required.

Book groups for adults
Book groups are a popular way for readers to share their love of reading with others. They offer great opportunities to meet new people and have stimulating and interesting discussions in a relaxed social environment.
Moreland's library service has several book groups for adults.
Book group members can suggest books to be discussed and the library will provide these books whenever possible.
The library supplies a limited number of copies of the book for discussion each month.
Places are no longer restricted and bookings are no longer required to be part of a Moreland City Libraries book group.
