Women’s Sport Participation Study

Background

Council and Victoria University have partnered together to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and initiatives to increase participation of female as players and leaders in local sport clubs, and identify what needs to occur in the future to support ongoing female participation.

The Women’s Sport Participation Study will identify the policies programs and strategies that encourage females to participate in sport as leaders and participants in Moreland.

Findings from the study will enable Council to provide evidence on what is working and what components can be enhanced to attract and keep females in sport.
