Park improvements

Bush Reserve was officially opened on Saturday 13 June 2015 after being redeveloped by Council.

The vision for Bush Reserve was to create a unique park for Coburg, using as many recycled materials as possible from the old depot site to create a unique place for locals to meet, play and have fun in a sustainable community space.

The Bush Reserve playground includes a tree house, flying fox, swings, wheel chair accessible liberty swing and musical sound sculptures. Other features of the park include a sheltered barbecue and picnic area, table tennis and basketball half court.

See Bush Reserve, Coburg redevelpment project for further details or watch our time lapse video of the redevelopment.
