Two prolific artists, Tania Ferrier and Negin Sharifzadeh, in a double feature exhibition.
Two prolific artists, Tania Ferrier and Negin Sharifzadeh, work alongside each other to present this powerful double feature exhibition.
Negin Sharifzadeh's exhibition 'Inspector Sorrow' is an interactive narrative based on a sci-fi/noir script, set in the future and the present, via a psychotic break or the manipulations of a criminal mastermind. A cat and mouse chase between Inspector Sorrow and Alice, the story's fractured femme fatale, told through video storyboards, soundscapes, interactive props and ebooks.
Tania Ferrier's 'Angry Underwear' was spawned in 1988. An incident in New York inspired her to create Angry Underwear - bras and pants with teeth and eyes on them. Angry Underwear went on to become an international media sensation.
Exhibition opening is 9 February at 6.30 pm.
Tania and Negin are giving an artist talk on Saturday 10 February, 2 - 4 pm.
Bookings are essential. Tickets cost $15 per head for the artist talk.
