The Dirty Dozen
The Dirty Dozen is a list of Moreland's worst sites for dumped rubbish and graffiti. It's part of a Council campaign to get Our Moreland - Looking Good.
Every fortnight a new Dirty Dozen list was published on our website, with photos and a map.
The listing of the Dirty Dozen has now finished.
The lists did a great job in highlighting the worst areas for dumping and graffiti in Moreland, and in particular, favourites spots for dumpers . They also showed the work Council does in cleaning up dumped rubbish and graffiti in Moreland.
Council thanks all residents who reported and emailed grot spots to us.
How did we choose sites for the Dirty Dozen?
Every fortnight for six weeks, Council listed a new set of Dirty Dozen sites here. The sites came from reports from residents and business and photos that residents emailed us. They were chosen because they had the most dumped rubbish and graffiti or were places that repeatedly got dumped rubbish and graffiti.
What happens to the Dirty Dozen sites?
Council cleaned them up within 24 - 48 hours of being reported.
