Pay aged services tax invoice or statement

Pay a Council invoice onlineUse Council's online payments

Customers with a tax invoice from Council can pay the amount due online with a Visa or MasterCard.

This includes:

  • aged services tax invoice or statement
  • hall or venue hire
  • sporting ground hire
  • skip bin payment 
  • commercial bin
  • property lease, or
  • other tax invoice.

See building or planning payment or green waste bin connection fee payment if you need to pay an invoice for these services.

What you need

You need the account number to pay an invoice online
  • a copy of your Council invoice or statement
  • the ‘Account number’ located on your invoice or statement, and
  • your Visa or MasterCard.

How to pay online

  • Go to Council's ePayments for invoices.
  • Detailed step-by-step instructions help you through the payment process. Go to ePayments help if you need support.
  • At the end of the payment process you get a reference number. Print the final screen or write down your reference number. You are not emailed a receipt for your online payment.

My Accounts

You can login to Council’s secure online website to view your outstanding accounts.

Each account will be shown with the amount owing. You can choose which account/s to pay and the amount then make a secure payment.

  • You need to register as a user.
  • Once you have received your password and login, go to My Accounts.  
  • Detailed step-by-step instructions help you through the payment process. Go to ePayments help if you need support.
  • At the end of the payment process you get a reference number. Print the final screen or write down your reference number. You are not emailed a receipt for your online payment.

Use your internet banking website with BPAY

Aged services tax invoice or statement

If you have internet banking set up, you can pay aged services tax invoice or statement as a BPAY bill. Payments can be made from your savings, cheque or credit card account.

  1. Login to your internet banking and select the button to pay bills online.
  2. Enter the Moreland City Council Biller Code 938951, the Reference Number found beside the BPAY symbol on the front of your invoice/statement, and the payment amount.
  3. Your account is debited and you get a receipt number and this confirms your payment.

Debtor tax invoices - not aged services tax invoice or statement

If you have internet banking set up, you can pay debtor tax invoice or statement as a BPAY bill. Payments can be made from your savings, cheque or credit card account.

  1. Login to your internet banking and select the button to pay bills online.
  2. Enter the Moreland City Council Biller Code 938944, the Reference Number found beside the BPAY symbol on the front of your invoice/statement, and the payment amount.
  3. Your account is debited and you get a receipt number and this confirms your payment.

Pay by phone
Aged services tax invoice or statement

Pay aged services tax invoice or statement with a Visa or MasterCard over the phone 24 hours using SecurePay automated system.

  • Phone Moreland SecurePay direct on 8677 5137. Press 4 to pay aged services tax invoice or statement and then follow the voice prompts, or
  • Phone Moreland City Council on 9240 1111. Press 1 to make a payment and then press 6. You will be connected to Moreland SecurePay. Press 4 to pay aged services tax invoice or statement and then follow the voice prompts.

You will be asked for:

  • the 'Account number'
  • your Visa or MasterCard number, and
  • the CVC number which is the last three digits at the back of your Visa or MasterCard. 

Pay by phone
Debtor tax invoices - not aged services tax invoice or statement

Pay debtor tax invoice or statement with a Visa or MasterCard over the phone 24 hours using SecurePay automated system.

  • Phone Moreland SecurePay direct on 8677 5137. Press 5 to pay debtor tax invoice or statement and then follow the voice prompts, or
  • Phone Moreland City Council on 9240 1111. Press 1 to make a payment and then press 6. You will be connected to Moreland SecurePay. Press 5 to pay debtor tax invoice or statement and then follow the voice prompts.

You will be asked for:

  • the 'Invoice number'
  • your Visa or MasterCard number, and

Pay by post

Mail the payment slip at the bottom of your invoice with a cheque or money order made payable to 'Moreland City Council' to Locked Bag 10, Moreland, Victoria 3058.

Pay in person

Bring your payment to a Council Citizens Service Centre with the payment slip at the bottom of your invoice.

Council Citizens Service Centres accept Visa and MasterCard, EFTPOS, cheque, money order and cash. The minimum payment for all card transactions is $10 and there is no cash out facility.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30 am – 5 pm (closed public holidays).

You can pay your aged care invoice by PostBillpay at a post office or by phone. See the back of your invoice for details.
