Home support
Council's home support staff undertake household tasks including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and toilet, and washing. Home support staff can provide shopping assistance for eligible residents who are unable do their own shopping.
Personal care assistance
Council's personal support staff help residents with showering, toileting, grooming and dressing.
Respite support
Council's respite support staff care for a person whose family or main carer need a short break. Respite care can be for frail older people or families of children with special needs.
Can I use these services?
Council’s services are for older people, people with a disability and their carers.
A Council officer visits you at home and assesses your needs to determine your eligibility and discuss service provision with you.
