Council gives you information in:
Language Link on the telephone
Language Link is a telephone interpreting service for Moreland’s community languages.
Phone the Language Link contact number for your language. An interpreter will contact Council and interpret for you as you speak with a Council officer.

Language Link when you visit a Citizens Service Centre
Tell staff the language you require. They will contact an interpreter to assist with communication or they can connect you to a recorded message on various topics such as rates, rubbish, recycling and community services in your own language.
Language Aides
Language Aides are bilingual Council Officers who provide basic interpreting services to citizens of Moreland who have difficulty communicating in English or prefer to communicate in a language other than English.
Current languages offered are Italian, Arabic and Turkish.
Language Services Policy
Council’s Language Services Policy says how Council communicates with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and with people with disabilities. It covers the use of interpreting and translation services, Language Link and Language Aides.
