Maternal and child health: CALD COM storyboard text and images
Cell 1
Your local Council helps people in the community stay health and happy.
It provides services to help people who may not be able to help themselves, such as:
- babies and children
- young people, and
- older people.
Cell 2
Maternal and child health services help families look after their babies and children by giving them:
- information
- guidance, and
- support.
Cell 3
Maternal and child health services can help mothers with:
- breastfeeding
- immunisation, and
- nutrition.
Cell 4
Maternal and child health services help families and children to be healthy and happy people.

Your local Council exists to help people stay healthy and happy. You can get help from your local Council by:
- telephoning Council
- visiting Council in person, or
- viewing the Council website.
