How to use an auto toilet: CALD COM storyboard text and images
Cell 1
Council has installed a number of self cleaning toilets, known as auto toilets, throughout the municipality.
Cell 2
To see if the toilet is occupied check the button located on the outside of the cubicle.
A green light shows it is empty. A red light shows it is being used. To enter the cubicle press the touch button.
Cell 3
Once inside, press the red button to close and lock the door. You can use the toilet for up to ten minutes. After nine minutes there is a warning message that your time has nearly ended.
Cell 4
There is no button to flush the toilet. It will flush automatically when you wash your hands.
To wash and dry your hands just place your hands under the sensors.
Cell 5
A few times a day the toilet is automatically cleaned, disinfected and blow-dried.
The toilet locks automatically while it is being cleaned.
Cell 6
