See the exhibition: 'Fighting for Equality'
Each year Council runs an event that celebrates the contribution of people with a disability in Moreland.
People with disabilities from ethnic backgrounds speak out. ‘Fighting for Equality’ is an exhibition of the Melbourne Immigration Museum in partnership with Action on Disability in Ethnic Communities. It explores the challenges and experiences of people with disabilities from ethnic backgrounds.
The exhibition of 18 poster stories will be rotated between public libraries across Moreland between 2 December 2011 – 17 January 2012 at various Moreland Libraries.
The exhibition was developed by Immigration Museum and ADEC as part of the Community Exhibition Program.
