Planning permit to demolish a house or outside buildings
You always need a building permit to demolish a building and some outside buildings.
If land is in a Public Acquisition Overlay or in a Heritage Overlay a planning permit is also required to demolish a house or any other buildings.
This includes:
- whole buildings
- outbuildings
- demolition of part of a building for an extensions, or
- to make alterations like new windows and doors.
