Amendment C104 - Gray Street, Hodgson Street, Brunswick Road and Barkly Street Precinct
The amendment implements recommendations of the Moreland Industrial land Use Strategy 2004 (MILUS), and the relevant policies within the Local Planning Policy Framework and the Municipal Strategic Statement (MSS).
The amendment proposes to rezone the following properties from an Industrial 3 Zone (IN3Z) to a Residential 1 Zone (R1Z).
- 20-22 Gray Street, Brunswick
- 17-19, 21-23 and 27-29 Hodgson Street, Brunswick
- 388-390, 392, 395, 397 and 399 Barkly Street, Brunswick, and
- 341 and 343 Brunswick Road, Brunswick.
The amendment also proposes to apply the Environmental Audit Overlay (EAO) to properties at 20-22 Gray Street, 17-19, 21-23 and 27-29 Hodgson Street, and 388-390 Barkly Street, Brunswick.
Status
An independant Panel appointed by the Minister for Planning considered submissions to the Amendment on 28 October 2011.
Council has now received the Panel's Report (PDF 264Kb) and will consider the Panel's recommendations early 2012.
