MoreArt 2011
The 2011 MoreArt Public Art Show was a tremedous success. Artists from across Victoria participated in Melbourne's most unique urban temporary public art show.
MoreArt celebrates Moreland’s unique urban character and gives artists and the community a chance to re-imagine the place they live in. The show taps into contemporary trends in the art world where artists are more directly engaged in the public space in presenting their ideas and inspirations to a broader audience.
Artists are selected to present both indoor and outdoor art works along the Upfield Train Line between Brunswick and Fawkner. MoreArt invites artists to respond to a variety of sites spotted along the Upfield rail and bicycle precinct. Vacant customer service spaces, public land and private property are all available to artists.
