Skip bins
If you want to hire a skip bin you will be required to contact an accredited skip company that hires a skip bin. Council does not hire out skip bins.
The skip bin hire company will contact Council to request a permit to place the skip bin on a public street, on your behalf. These companies are accredited with Council and carry the appropriate level of public liability insurance. You may contact council to obtain a listing of accredited skip companies.
A permit is not required if a skip bin is placed on private property.
