Gaffney Village, Pascoe Vale Shopping Strip
Council is undertaking the design for streetscape improvements of the Gaffney Village Shopping Strip, as part of the Council Shopping Strip Renewal Program.
The aim is to revitalise the area and improve the pedestrian amenity, walkability and presentation of the shopping strip.
Key improvements will include:
- Footpath upgrade including paving, and kerb and channel
- Landscaping, including street trees and rain gardens, and
- Upgrade of street furniture as required.
The design phase will occur in 2017-18 followed by construction in 2018-19.
Budget and timelines
- Budget: $50,000 (design)
- Design completion: July 2018

Consultation closes 16 November 2017.
An information session will be held to gather the community's feedback on the Draft Concept Design.
