JP Fawkner netball and multipurpose courts
The Victorian Government’s new $9.6 million Inner City Netball Program is building 64 competition compliant netball courts in inner-Melbourne, ensuring nobody is turned away from playing the game they love.
Moreland is benefiting from the program, which will cater for the growing demand for netball by building multi court facilities where they are needed most.
The design for two fully-lit competition compliant multi purpose netball/tennis courts is underway. The courts will be located within the lease boundary area of Oak Park Tennis Club.
The JP Fawkner Reserve netball court construction is funded by the Victorian Government through the Inner City Netball Program. The budget for these courts is $278,848.
Construction of the JP Fawkner will commence in early 2018.
The courts are being designed by Court Technology Victoria and will be constructed by AS Lodge (Vic) Pty Ltd.
