About Moreland Community Grants Program

The Moreland Community Grants Program gives financial support and incentive to community groups, organisations and individuals to implement and support community building initiatives.

This grants program is targeted at not-for-profit incorporated community groups.

Annual grants

Operational grant Up to $10,000 per year Applications currently closed. 3 financial years
Capital Works Partnership grant Up to $40,000 Expressions of interest open 1 February and close 1 April 2018 12 months

Minor grants

Currently all minor grants are currently available for application. Funding duration is for a 12 month period or as per agreement.

Assistance with a sport and recreation club membership

Membership Activity grant Up to $2000

Assistance with ongoing costs for member activities.

Funding levels dependant on the number of Moreland members in group

Quick Response grant Up to $1000

Community led small project or event

Community groups that need to purchase minor equipment

Establishment of a new group

Female Participation grant Up to $3,000

Provide opportunities for women and girls in sports, physical activity and leadership programs

Youth Initiative Grant Up to $3,000

Supports youth led one-off projects or pilot programs
