Change of ownership, address or name
To make sure Council's property records are accurate and current so that rate notices are delivered correctly without delay, you must tell Council of any change of name, address or ownership as soon as possible.
When ownership of a property changes, the liability for payment of rates remains with the owner until a notice of disposition is received.
How to update your details with Council
Download and fill in a Change of Name form (DOC 46Kb), Change of Address form (DOC 65Kb) or a Change of Ownership form. (DOC 36Kb)
Send the form to Council's NAR System Adminstrator:

- by fax: 9240 1212, or
- by email: Info at Moreland
Council does not accept a change of name, address or ownership by telephone. .
