M80 Ring Road upgrade
The State Government is upgrading the M80 Western and Metropolitan Ring Roads from the Princes Freeway at Laverton North to the Greensborough Highway at Greensborough.
The works include:
- upgrading to at least three lanes
- installing electronic systems including ramp metering to manage traffic flow, and
- changing freeway interchanges and ramps where needed.
