Allocation of Sporting Grounds and Pavilions Draft Policy
Council recently endorsed an Allocation of Sporting Grounds and Pavilions Policy (DOC 115Kb) and now seeks final comment from affected clubs and community.
About the draft policy
The draft policy has been developed to assist Council in the allocation of sporting grounds and pavilions to ensure the structure of sport in Moreland provides all people with equality of opportunity and choice.
A key driver for the policy is to increase the active participation rates of juniors and women.
Give feedback: comments due 5 pm, 16 November 2009
Council is particularly interested in receiving feedback
- in response to changes made to Section 4 of the draft policy, and
- the removal of the requirement for all clubs to have junior sides and active female participation.
Review the proposed policy and provide written feedback by no later than 5 pm Monday 16 November 2009:
