Find the status of our capital works
Our Capital Works Reporting website gives information about our current major capital works.
Select a project from the list to see:
- project details
- budget
- where the project is up to, and
- name and contact details of the project manager.
For some projects, further information is available by selecting the ‘Attached Documents’ link found at the bottom of the project page.

If you have any questions about a project, please phone or email the listed Project Manager.
Project information is updated regularly, about every three months.
What do we mean by capital works?
Capital works are buildings and engineering work that create or improve an asset for the community to use.
Assets are things such as roads, footpaths, bridges, or buildings.
Capital works by Moreland Council
Capital works we do in Moreland are:
- major roadworks that upgrade existing roads, footpaths or drainage
- improve or extend existing buildings, such as sports pavilions, senior citizen centres and libraries
- construct new buildings, such as community centres, and
- create bicycle paths, build roundabouts and improve parks with playgrounds, barbecues and seats.

- reconstruction of O'Hea Street, Coburg
- new Glenroy Community Centre
- roundabout at Gowanbrae Drive, Gowanbrae
- redevelopment of the Brunswick City Baths
