Community Advisory Committees
Community Advisory Committees are made of community members, Councillors and experts.
They meet regularly discuss issues and advise Council.
| Disability Advisory Committee | A community committee that discusses and advises Council on disability issues. Its role, meetings and terms of reference. |
| Family and Children Services Advisory Committee | Advises Council on issues of quality, equity, affordability and accessibility that impact on delivery of children and family services. |
| Friends of Aileu Community Committee | Considers and discusses strategies to help Moreland and Hume Councils support activities for the Councils' joint friendship city relationship with Aileu, East Timor. |
| Health, Safety and Wellbeing Leadership Group | A group of representatives from government and community organisations, staff and Councillors that advises Council in its planning for health and wellbeing outcomes for Moreland citizens. |
| Interfaith Gathering | Local leaders of faith communities, community members and Councillors discuss issues and advise Council |
| Moreland Arts Board | The main consultative body advising Council in furthering the cultural vitality of Moreland. |
| Moreland Libraries Advisory Committee (MorLAC) | Advises Council on library issues and performance. |
| Municipal Emergency Management Committee | A community committee that makes recommendations to Council regarding emergency management matters. |
| Norm Anderson Young People's Trust Committee | Acts as trustees of funds to help disadvantaged young people in Moreland. |
| Sporting Club Forum | Shares information, discusses issues and advises Council relating to local sports clubs. |
| Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group | Shares information, discusses sustainability issues and advises Council on its sustainability strategies, programs and policies. |
| Transport Advisory Committee | Develops, promotes and assists Council to achieve the aims of the Moreland Integrated Transport Strategy |
| Youth Facilities and Services Advisory Committee | Discusses and advises Council its policies and programs that impact on young people. |
